Our Facilities
With over 150 years of farming experience, we have built our facilities to ensure we can produce high quality feed for your livestock all year long, ensuring ample availability of supplies farmers that trust Weideman Livestock Pellets.
2 manufacturing plants
Weideman Livestock Pellets operates from our state-of-the-art farm just outside of Jacobsdal, boasting 2 seperate plants where we process our locally farmed produce into Weideman Livestock Pellets
Powered by Famsun
Both of our plants are powered by Famsun equipment with the latest technology the industry has to offer. Famsun manufacturs state of the art equipment for sustainable food production.
Self Sustainable
Weideman Livestock Feeds is powered by our own solar plant and we source water directly from the Riet Rivier ensuring that our production line can operate without any interruptions.
Plant 1
The first plant was built in 2017 using FAMSUN equipment with a capacity of 60 tons per day.
Plant 2
In 2023 we built a new plant using Famsun equipment with al the latest technology. The plant was commissioned in December of 2023 and we started production in Jan 2024. The Famsun plant is 100% solar powered.
